Factfood.org provides scientifically valid information on questions of nutrition, along with commentary and analyses from members of the research community. The articles are written by journalists, health specialists and researchers and then systematically checked by doctors and scientists. The aim of the initiative is to provide the general public with truly independent information in the area of nutrition, which is all too often clouded by bias or commercial considerations. Factfood.org is the result of an editorial partnership between the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), with the philanthropic support of the Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Foundation. It has the same goals and includes the same partners as the Openfood project.
